A chemical plant in Xi'an is one such example, with its stockpiled terpene resin remaining unused for an extended period due to a lack of suitable sales channels.
To address this issue, the plant proactively responded to government calls and collaborated with local environmental authorities and industry associations to launch a series of recycling activities. First, they meticulously categorized and identified the terpene resin in storage to ensure effective utilization. Subsequently, they reached out to multiple downstream enterprises, introducing the properties of terpene resin and its application potential across various fields. After multiple rounds of communication, several companies expressed strong interest and agreed to purchase the inventory.
During the recycling process, the Xi'an chemical plant implemented strict measures to ensure safety and environmental protection. The terpene resin underwent harmless treatment to eliminate potential environmental risks. It was then packaged and transported in compliance with eco-friendly standards to prevent secondary pollution. Additionally, detailed logistics information and technical support were provided to facilitate smooth transactions.
This initiative not only resolved the plant’s inventory challenges but also invigorated local economic growth. Collaboration with downstream enterprises expanded the applications of terpene resin, generating significant profits. it set a precedent for other businesses, encouraging proactive solutions rather than abandoning inventory.
Crucially, recycling terpene resin in Xi'an holds immense environmental value. As a petroleum derivative, terpene resin production involves environmental costs. Recycling reduces pollution, improves ecological quality, and promotes circular resource use, aligning with green economic principles.
The Xi'an terpene resin recycling initiative serves as a successful case study. It addressed corporate challenges while advancing environmental protection, showcasing how governments and businesses can collaborate to achieve win-win outcomes.
